International Rankings - 2005 Playoff Rules & Scoring
LINE-UPS
Lineups are due 30 minutes before the
first kickoff of that week, unless I grant an extension. Generally on
Thursday games lineups do not need to be in until halftime of the Thursday night

One Quarterback (1) QB
Two Running Backs (2) RB
Three Receivers (3) Receivers
(This is TE or WR)
One Kicker (1) K
*One Defensive Team (1) DT
* Many leagues use defensive players, in this case please
have the team pick up a team defense for the playoffs. All teams are allowed to
reselect a team defense if they wish (without regard to league draft).
POINT
RULES (SCORING)
Quarterbacks
3 Points are awarded for each TD pass thrown
6 Points are awarded for each TD scored rushing
6 points are awarded for each TD scored receiving a pass.
.025 For Each Yard of Passing
.050 For Each Yard of Rushing
Running Backs, Wide Receivers or Tight Ends
6 Points are awarded for each TD scored either by running
or catching a pass
.05 For Each Yard Gain Rush or Receiving.
3 Points are awarded for each TD pass thrown
.025 For Each Yard of Passing
Kickers
3 points awarded for each field goal
5 points awarded for 50 plus field goal
1 point is awarded for each extra point
2 Point Conversion
If a player QB, RB, WR, TE runs in the 2 point
conversion, he is awarded the two points. If it involves
a pass the player catching a pass is awarded 2 points.
Defense
1 Point for an Interception or Fumble Recovery
1 Point for a Sack
2 Points for a Safety
6 Points for a TD scored by the defense.
Factor and Handicap Points
FACTORING
and HANDICAPPING SYSTEM
It would not be fair to give a team that comes from a 6
person draft pool an advantage over a
team that came from a larger drafting pool.
Teams are awarded points based on the size of there
drafting pool
called factor points.

EXAMPLE:
Alaska Oilspill came from a league with 11 teams in the
drafting pool.
11 Teams is Equal = 5 Factor Points
Teams are awarded points based on a handicapping system,
that is based
on several complex factors but is awarded by the size of
the of the
teams drafting pool.

In order to figure your Handicap Score take your Total
Score before
adding the Factor Points and multiply it by the Handicap
Factor.
EXAMPLE: Alaska Oilspill Scored
53.25 Total Points and came from and
league with 11 teams in the drafting pool.
53.25 x .020298 = 1.08 (Standard Rounding Method)
1.08 in the Handicap Score
Therefore the Score for the Alaska Oilspill would be:
Total Score 53.25
Factor Points: 5.00
Hdcp Score: 1.08
Total Score 59.33
